We are looking at the human circulatory system in science. To start with, we investigated the different components of blood and what each part's function is. This was done by creating our own 'blood'.
Here is the recipe:
Water with yellow food colouring to represent the plasma
Cheerios in red food colouring to represent the red blood cells
White marshmallows to represent the white blood cells
Porridge oats to represent the platelets.
