Tyriq and Tane (Year 6) have been chosen to represent South Birmingham District in Football.
They passed a trial at the end of the last academic year and at a weekend in September played in their first competition and finished a very hard earned 4th place. Congratulations to both of them and we wish them a very successful season ahead.

Year 6 Sats are taking place this week, Monday 13th to Thursday 16th May. Year 6 children are invited to come into school at 8.20am each day as we will be providing them with breakfast and a drink. Breakfast will be served until 8.40am. Please ensure that children have a good night’s sleep and come into school prepared for the tests. They have all worked hard and we wish them the very best.

For the 2017-2018 academic year, there is a new condition requiring schools to publish how many pupils within their year 6 cohort are meeting the national curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, use a range of strokes effectively and perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.  This condition has been added in response to recommendations from the Swim Group, who reviewed curriculum swimming and water safety in primary schools.

Click here to have an overview of how last year's Year 6 performed at the end of their Swimming course.

For some more fun, put your helmet on!

And Kingswood would not be Kingswood without its famous Disco night!
Time for bed, now? NO! Time for hot chocolate and a camp fire.
