YEAR 3 AT HOME

During the school closure, our Year 3 children are keeping up the good work at home!
Tuesday 30th March
In Art we are looking at landscapes. This week we looked at how to create perspective in our pictures.

Year 3 have continued their work on Holy week by looking at The Last Supper. They wrote a comic strip to tell the story.

Tuesday 19th January:
​
Adam, Rizwaan and Ahmed all made their own Shaduf for their History work.
They learnt that a Shaduf is an important invention to the Ancient Egyptians. It was designed to scoop water from the river and move it so that it could be sprinkled on the land where crops were growing.

" I chose white, sliced bread to make my favourite, a tuna sandwich".

Livia writes: "Stone Age Project - I worked on this project over Christmas. I started by drawing my idea on paper..." - "I also added a forrest using my oil paints" - "I also added a snowman...because we have winter after all :)" - "I worked with a modelling clay, which I painted after it was dry."
