praying the Rosary

Picture

October is the month of the Rosary when we contemplate the main events of Jesus’ life while reciting the Our Father, Hail Mary and the Glory Be prayer.

On Tuesday 15th, Mass was dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary and was led by Year 3.

On Wednesday 9th October, the children prayed the rosary with Archbishop Bernard Longley in an event live streamed from St Chad’s Cathedral. The children were fantastic and clearly took a lot from their praying of this traditional form of meditation.
For some more information about this invitation to prayer with Archbishop Bernard Longley, you can click on this link: http://www.bdes.org.uk/time-of-prayer.html
