Year 6 children's work

During the school closure, our Year 6 children are keeping the good work at home!
Look at Kianna:

She wrote to her local hospital about how amazing they are and how much they're doing to help people. She got a letter back and a goody bag. She's so proud.

Lions
What do lions look like?
Lions are mammals who eat meat. They are muscular and powerful. They are the biggest cats after tigers. Lions are one of the most reconcilable animal symbol in the human culture. Lions are called king of the jungle.

Koalas
What Do Koalas Look Like?
The cuddly critters belong to the marsupial family. Have you ever thought that koalas were bears? It is a common mistake to think they are because they are not. Strangely enough, koalas aren't as furry as they look - they have thick, woolly fur which is quite coarse. They can live up to 18 years and a female can produce up to 6 cubs in a life time. A little-known fact is that koalas can weigh up to about a whopping 14 kilograms, which is a big amount for such a small creature. They can be 60-85 centimeters long. In addition, they have long necks which can be pink or black.
Did you know? An infant koala is called a joey and their mothers carry them around for 35 days.
