Read Emily's serious research on dogs:
Your dog uses different movements and noises to show what mood it is in. It may bark for attention, or growl to be left alone. When you meet any dog for the first time, watch to see if it is friendly or not. Ask their owner before you touch their dog.
Your dog may wag its tail when it is happy. It may also lift its ears up and draw its lips upwards as if it is smiling.
Try to look at many dogs before picking one. If this is your first dog, you may find a puppy easier to raise and train than an adult.
Your national kennel club is a good place to start your search. Outside Great Britain, you may need a licence to own a dog.
A puppy is ready to leave its mother when it is about 7-8 weeks old. Visit her to make sure she or he is friendly.
Before you choose a puppy, find out as much as you can about its parents. If they are big, their puppies will grow up to be big too. If they are small their puppies will grow up to be small.
If you can, play with the puppies to see what they are like. Look for one that likes people, as well as its brothers or sisters. Pick a puppy that is not bossy and not very shy. A bossy puppy may be hard to control and train when it grows up.
Take four pairs of your dad's old socks and stuff three of the pairs, and one sock from the fourth pair into the sock you have left. Tie a knot in the top of this sock and hey presto! you've made a great toy to ply fetch or tug of war with your dog. Just make sure that you used old socks. Your dad won't be very happy if he has to walk around in bare feet!

Read Kaiden's song: Time away (Work in progress)
Verse 1
I'm away from school, Can't go to the pool, Sitting in my house, My hair full of louse, With paper and pens, I drew yonder glen, I sat looking like a fool. |
Chorus
I sat there snoring, My life was boring, Time away, I'm happy to say, I like a few different days. |
Verse 2
I look at my sister, Then I touched my blister, Not a lot of pain, As I sat and stared at the rain, With paper and pens, I drew yonder glen, I sat looking like a fool. |
Verse 3
As I travelled up the stairs, I dropped by for some pears Glanced at the table, I looked like Chris Fable, Took some paper and pens, I drew yonder glen, I sat looking like a fool. |

The Romans and Boudica's revolt
A long time ago, in East Anglia, a woman named Boudica was furious about Romans taking over her land. They had offered to feed the people that inhabited East Anglia and gave shelters (which were poorly made) in trade for wood (coming from the trees that they owned), iron (down from the mines that East Anglia owned) and demanded for taxes given from the people who were old enough to pay which was at the age of eighteen. If not the people would be executed. If one person was charged of death the whole family had to watch them die and would then be executed as the remaining members of the family watched in terror until their turn. Boudica had been unhappy for quite a while and was now ready to revolt. This is the information on how Boudica felt at the time of the revolt from the Romans. How would you feel? |

Read Adyan's ideas about 2 pieces of music:
Why do you like about this piece of music?
What do you like about the tune? What do you notice about the dynamics or how loud or quiet this music is? How does this piece of music make you feel? When and where do you like to listen to this piece of music? |
I like the lyrics and the singer's voice because it is very unique. I also like the beat throughout the song. The music video is also really colourful and interesting.
It is an upbeat tune. This music is not too loud or quiet but it has a low pitch. This music makes me feel excited, cheerful and want to go outside and play in the sun. I listen to this music in the summer and when it is sunny or when i am sad because it lifts my mood. |
I like this song because it can fix anyone's bad mood and everyone I know enjoys the song. Also it has a good message.
It is a catchy tune and there are a lot instruments and beats in it which I love. I think it has loud dynamics and a fast pitch. This music makes me joyful and smile and I want to dance and clap along with the singer and have fun! |

Drag me down- One direction
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jwgf3wmiA04 I like it because they sang it in a rock and roll way. That it is rock roll and catchy. I notice the dynamics are loud, fast and peppy. It makes me feel happy and lively. While I am dancing. |
Read Torin's story:

Candy floss girl wears a pink and blue candy floss dress.
Candy floss girl has a dog called Candy floss Lilly.
She fires candyfloss out of her hands and it sticks to villains.
One day a villain (who was "bonkers") escaped from prison and his name was the Joker, who wanted to explode the prison. She ran quicker than a cheetah after the Joker, firing candy floss to try and stick him to the ground but he keeps jumping. But after a few more time, she finally caught the Joker and the police came and arrest him {THE END}
