National Sports Week 2020 is from Saturday 20 June to Friday 26 June 2020 and is a celebration of PE and School Sport.
To celebrate this year’s event, I am asking everyone at some point this week to take a “Healthy Selfie” of themselves doing something active.
It DOES NOT have to be sporty, from walking the dog to working out with Joe Wicks, to watering the plants in the garden, playing your favourite sport or even tidying your room, anything that keeps you physically active and moving for a period of time.
If you get stuck for ideas look at our school website https://www.stmartindeporres.org.uk/stay-indoors-but-keep-active.html
All pictures can be sent to myself or to your teachers by email or on BGFL and then I will transfer them onto the school website where I have set up a page especially for all our “Healthy Selfie” photos.
Keeping active during this difficult time is so important for our mental health and wellbeing so get out there and take your “healthy selfie”.
Be as creative, wacky and wonderful as you want to be, you can take a picture every day if you choose to as long as it is a different activity you are doing, and I can’t wait to see what you all have been up to!!
