The School Games is a National Initiative open to any young person. As part of the legacy work after the London 2012 Olympics , it provides opportunities for young people to play, compete, and represent their school in a wide range of sports and activities.
The Birmingham School Games Challenges are a collection of ongoing challenges linked to the School Games. They are being developed by the Birmingham School Games Organisers (SGO) and Sport Birmingham. It was initially developed to encourage children and young people to keep active during the National Lockdown.
With all inter sport competitions suspended due to Covid-19 for the foreseeable future, here at St Martins we are integrating the challenges into our PE lessons from September onwards.
