food bank

Picture
Our food bank is located in the foyer of the main school reception area. It supports Sparkhill Food Bank which is part of The Trussell Trust. Over 90% of the food distributed by food banks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to their ability to give everyone referred to them a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Food items urgently needed are: powdered and UHT milk, long-life fruit juice, chapatti flour, rice pudding and custard, tinned fruit, meat soup & toiletries. Please help us to support this worthwhile cause – our next collection will be at the beginning of the last week of this school term.
We would greatly appreciate any donations of tinned/packet food . Thank you in anticipation of your continued support with this.

Last December, Staff and pupils at St Martin de Porres collected the amazing amount of 80.6kg of food to support Sparkhill Foodbank.
